OUR "BAYANIHAN"
The Philippines has gone through a lot this year, from experiencing a volcanic eruption in Batangas which happened in January, having the worst COVID 19 response here in Southeast Asia to dealing with the effects of the typhoon Rolly, which is said to be the strongest typhoon that has struck this 2020. As a citizen of this nation, I am deeply worried and concerned about my fellow Filipinos who has gone through this tough times especially the government is being blind and emotionless about our situations today.
Given that our government is being apathetic and uninterested about the conditions of Filipinos since they focus on issues that are irrelevant and insignificant during this times, our “resilience” is the only solution for this. Even though that we are resilient and we know how to handle and recover from difficulties, we cannot deny that it is harder to get back up without the help of our government since they are the ones who have the budget and the capability to aid the victims. It is inhumane that our “resilience” should be the one to cover up their irresponsibility and laziness in serving the nation.
We are known for our “bayanihan”-spirit of communal unity and cooperation, especially when the Philippines will experience a natural disaster and we unite and help the ones in need. Since we can’t expect anything from the government, we should just unite and help each other. Let us set aside our pride and learn (if possible) how to reach out to the ones who needs it. We should also elect leaders that are deserving and those who are qualified in ruling us in the next election since our current government will be the ones who will plummet us down instead of helping us improve our nation. If we want our country to be more resilient, let’s help each other out.

I really love how you write this vlog, its so genuine and very scholastic, you were able to particularize all the reasons on why filipinos are distinctively resilient, good job!
ReplyDeleteGood Day! I agree that Filipinos may be known for their resiliency but this should not conceal the irresponsibilities of some of our incompetent leaders. What we need to do is to help each other and to vote wisely next election. And to start calling out because we deserve better.
ReplyDeleteI really love how you write this blog. This is so genuine and also very educational, that you've been able to articulate all the reasons why Filipinos are notably resilient, excellent work!
ReplyDeleteDespite of the challenges we've been through, we, Filipinos are still resilient and persistent to achieve more. After all, we, Filipinos are the ones who's giving credits and helps to each other. Our unity or our "bayanihan" will leads us to prosper. Kudos, Robellro!
ReplyDeleteI agree to everything that you wrote. I can't say anything about this vlog of yours. But shame onto those officials who are taking advantages of our resiliency for them to negate their incompetency and negligence in leading the country.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great work Robellro! Your composition is well-structured and your narration is really impressive. Hopefully the government will take immediate actions for the betterment of our country. I also agree that Filipinos are resilient and we will overcome the crisis we face through unity and our strong faith in God. Continue to inspire and spread awareness. Stay safe and keep going!
ReplyDeleteThe mention about "bayanihan" is what I liked the most. It is part of the Filipino culture and it is great that we can use it in this kind of situation. But, yes. Philippines still has to enhance its resilience.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you always bashing the government? Criticizing them won't help the government get better. You should help out and open your eyes to the true enemies.
